If your raw material is a wood log. you need to use a debarker to peel the bark off the log. Because the bark contains a lot of ash, which will affect the quality of the pellets.

Wood chipper (also known as tree chipper) is a machine that is used to cut wood log, tree limbs, trunks, and branches into small wood chips. When outlet from pellet machine, the temperature of wood pellets can reach about 60-80 degrees and the moisture content is close to 15%. The structure of pellets is relatively loose, and it is easy to break. So a pellet cooler is needed. After cooling, the temperature is not higher than room temperature +3-5. Also the surface temperature and moisture content reduced, making the wood pellets easy to store.

Finished wood pellets are easily damp after cooling. Therefore, packing machine is needed to make the pellets dry and water-proof, so as to extend the storage time. Normally, we recommend our customers to choose bag packing machine(20kg to 50kg per bag ) or ton scale(1 ton per bag). Note: The wood pellets should be stored in a well ventilated place to avoid the direct sunlight.
